About Us

Hydrexia Pty Ltd is a start-up company based in Brisbane, Australia and has a dedicated hydrogen laboratory located at the St Lucia campus of The University of Queensland (UQ).

Hydrexia closed its seed round of financing on 30 June 2006, attracting equity investment from Australian investors, Uniseed and the teQstart Investment Fund.

The company is developing hydrogen storage systems based on proprietary magnesium hydrides and is initially targeting several current and emerging hydrogen applications, including:

• Large-scale, industrial hydrogen storage
• Transport fuelling storage, and
• Storage for hydrogen fuel cell back-up, remote area and telecoms power
